The original PA Schnippelbuch has achieved cult status in Germany since 1980 when it was first published. It continues to be the source for artistic inspiration for the non-profit community. Educators, parent groups, students. amateur artists, editors and journalists, stage and costume designers, and libraries for years have turned to the Schnippelbuch to find illustrations, cartoons, old fashioned pictures to re-draw, cut-out, create collages and to just enjoy! Schnippelbuch 1 & and 2 contain over 20,000 illustrations and the Schnippelbuch set is the favourite reference guide for everyone who needs graphics materials that are different from the usual Clip-Art fare. The books are updated regularly, but remain true to the original scrapbook concept. Over the years the PA Schippelbuch has found enthusiasts outside Germany and is currently sold in China, Japan, Luxembourg, Switzerland and Argentina.
